User Interface (UI): Users hate changes, but love improvements!

During this week I had interesting consulting session for future changes to a well-known HD related forum with thousands of active users. As we all know, time passes fast in the great world of Internet and old techniques and solutions deprecate rapidly. Well planned system can live longer. Now its time for improvements and a face lift for this particular site and its forum (phpBB). Old Webmaster is retiring and new one has great new ideas. Very good start. :)
